I know women politicians often get judged on their appearances much more than their male counterparts. I know this is sexist/wrong/unfair and so on.
But seriously, People of Ukraine, how can you keep voting for this hair?
What a marvellous specimen Ioulia Timochenko is.

hey,
Bit of fairness, please! one has to appreciate the politics of hairstyle aesthetics in a ukrainian context to understand ms tymoshenko's (billions of dollars available to buy) voter appeal. I mean, it's not as if they're voting for a woman with a beehive...
Think about it: if the B52's were to go into parliamentary politics, you'd consider voting for them. Wouldn't you?
Bronwyn Bishop. Enough said. *shudder*
i am currently conducting an on the ground, of the moment survey of ukrainian women's haridressing. thus far, i have seen no fairy-princess / ancient warrior plaits and very few natural blondes.
yushchenko has got a fair amount of lift in his hair.
now i think of it, there aren't enough beehives around.
We shall all have to go armed with a teasing comb and some industrial strength hairspray and glam them up in time for Eurovision...
update:
i have seen glam your kyivites in their cavalli jeans and stilettos also sporting plaits wrapped over the top of their head. R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Oh my...
*does hair like Princess Leia*
*buys plane ticket*
hmmm... it just hit me that there's always the possibility amy winehouse may be considering a career in eastern european politics.
i'm sure yeltsin would approve.
