The wonderful "The Wrong Side of Capitalism" provides this wonderful report on Žižek’s wedding. It includes the following line:
"Apparently, Žižek got cold feet and fled just before the wedding. Luckily, his fiancé’s parents are lacanians, so they sent some heavies to make sure Žižek didn’t give up on his desire"
This makes me feel better abort my rather deformed SOH.
He also appears to be doing public lectures in the UK, in case one needed more encouragement to run away to Europe. I hear Ljubljana is nice this time of year..
